The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) has recently reported on the dismal state of Arizona’s funding of public K-12 schools. Arizona is ranked 48th in per pupil spending and state support has declined by 36% per pupil. The sad state of public school funding in Arizona is thoroughly discussed in Blog for Arizona. The good news is that almost three-fourths of Arizona voters say the state is spending too little on our K-12 public school students.
Let’s turnout the LD 11 Republicans who have reduced taxes at the expense of public education and elect Ralph Atchue and Corin Hammond who will work to restore funding of our schools…an essential investment in our future! You can link to their websites on our Candidates page.
