An Invitation from SaddleBrooke Democrats!

Let’s introduce ourselves and invite you to join. With more than 300 members, we’re one of the largest and most active democratic clubs in southern Arizona.

We meet every second Saturday of the month at the SaddleBrooke Activities Center which is located at 64518 E Galveston Lane, Tucson, AZ 85739.  Meetings start at 3pm, listening to speakers, meeting candidates or discussing issues with outside guests and experts.  We usually have a potluck supper at a member’s home after the meeting, there are more chances to question the speaker, talk to candidates and enjoy good food and conversation.

Recent speakers have talked to us about Iraq War, Health care, Identity Theft, Pinal County Development, Religion and Politics. Elected officials and candidates often appear at club meetings. This past election, the club spent over $9,000 in support of the 2008 Election Cycle. We sponsored an office in northwest Tucson, distributed thousands of fliers, made thousands of phone calls and knocked on lots of doors.

Membership in the club is open to all Democrats (members)  who vote or reside in Precinct 8 and 15 of Pinal County, Arizona. Independents and those residing outside of SaddleBrooke may join as Associate Members.  It’s not necessary for members to be registered to vote in Arizona, so snowbirds are more than welcome!

Annual dues, which provide working capital for club expenses with any excess being made available for political campaigning in our area, are $30 per couple or $20 for an individual. Send us an email and we will send you a membership form.
