We need people to make phone calls to Democrats around the district to remind them to vote for Jo. We need people to write letters to the editor. It’s easy, and you can talk about Sen Melvin’s push to bring the country’s nuclear waste to Arizona, or the fact that his “Captain Al” signs violate Navy and DoD regulations. There are many more. Remember, writing a letter to the Editor helps, even if it isn’t published. It influences editors and “the dialogue.”

Election Protection – led by the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law – is the nation’s largest non-partisan voter protection coalition. Through the 1-866-OUR-VOTE hotline and a comprehensive legal field deployment as well as a robust grassroots component, Election Protection helps ensure eligible voters are able to participate in our democracy while collecting data for meaningful reform so that our elections are free, fair, and accessible.
How you can help: In conjunction with its coalition partners, Election Protection is currently recruiting grassroots volunteers to:
- Participate in grassroots poll monitoring on Election Day to ensure the process is running properly
Election Protection is recruiting grassroots poll monitors in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NM, OH, PA, TX, and VA through our partner, Common Cause. Our partner Advancement Project is also looking for grassroots poll monitors in MO. Join Planned Parenthood supporters at mini rallies all over Arizona for a statewide get-out-the-vote event at your house. You will find out which Arizona candidates support women’s health and what’s at stake for women in Arizona this Election Day – not to mention spend the morning with some pro-choice friends and neighbors. We’ll send you a kit and fun Planned Parenthood swag!
Our goal is to get at least a half-dozen folks at each mini rally, and we will supply all the materials – this really could not be easier. The only things you have to do are 1) invite some friends over, 2) pick up some donuts and brew some coffee, and 3) turn on your computer (Mimosas optional).
