On Thrusday, August 28th Senator Barack Obama will accept the Democratic Party nomination for President of the United States.  He will do so before a sold-out crowd of 80,000 people in Invesco Stadium in Denver, Colorado.  We can’t be there, but we can listen and urge him on.

We have reserved the dining room located next to the Palo Verde room at Mountain View Clubhouse.  At this time we think the speech will be at about 7 pm local time.  If so, we suggest that club members get together for dinner (dutch treat) in the Palo Verde room at about 6 pm.  After dinner, we will socialize and watch the speech at 7 pm.   Remember if you want to eat dinner that evening, we recommend reservations.
