Monthly Meeting, November 12th 2005

Our November gathering will be held starting at 3pm at the activity center at 64518 Galveston Lane in Saddlebrooke Unit #1.  The formal meeting starts at 3:30pm and is preceeded with a social time to meet and greet friends and neighbors.
Our guest this month is Diana Rhodes, Executive Director of the Sonoran Institute.  Diana’s presentation will be entitled Preserving Arizona’s Future and she will tell us all about the State Land Trust Initiative which is expected to be on the ballot next November.  We will be circulating petitions for the Land Trust Initiative and there may well be additional state and local candidates in attendance.  We expect a busy meeting and a great turnout.
Please join us for a pot luck supper at the home of Joe and Pat Smith, immediately following the meeting.  This is a wonderful time to meet neighbors who share your political views.  Enjoy some lively conversation along with a delicious dinner!  Guests are asked to provide a hearty appitizer, salad or a dessert.  Please call Pat or Joe at 825-2409 for reservations as seating is limited.  Directions to their home will be available at the meeting.
