November 4th Election Day and Celebration

On election day, we’ll have a canopy and table all day at Mountainview Clubhouse to cheer our Democratic voters and importantly to conduct Get Out The Vote Activities. We will have lists of SaddleBrooke voters who are expected to vote at the polls (i.e. voters who have not pulled an Early Ballot). Starting before noon, we will compare that list to the names of the people who have actually voted and begin to phone those who have not cast a ballot. We need about a dozen volunteers to make calls and drivers to be able to pick up voters and get them to the polls before 7pm closing time.
After that it is Party Time….
The Club has reserved the SaddleBrooke Clubhouse for the entire evening of November 4th. Starting at about 6:30pm we will have multiple televisions set up to watch national and Arizona results. There will be a no-host bar to toast our winners and salute our less fortunate candidates. The SaddleBrooke Democrats will provide a full range of desserts and coffee so we can all be wide awake for what we hope will be an early evening followed by wild celebration!
